Brenda Gail Hopson, 77 of Russellville, passed away at her residence on November 9, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was a wife, mother, homemaker, and City Council Activist.
A visitation will be held at Greenview Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm on Monday, November 11, 2024. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 2:00 pm with Bro. Nick McSpaden officiating.
Mrs. Hopson was preceded in death by her parents, Rollie Foster Herman and Myrtle Crotts; and brothers, David Castile, William Castile, and Mike Castile.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Hopson; sons, Kyle Hopson (Shirley) and Kenneth Hopson (Sharon), Terrance Hopson, Keith Hopson, and Josh Hopson; grandchildren, Cody Hopson, Stephanie Salas, Sam Hopson (Samantha), and Jacob Castle (Madaline); great grandchildren, Angel Salas, Austin Salas, and Franky Castle; brothers, Roger Herman and Dean Thomas Herman; sisters, Kathy Peden, Jeanne Herman Bricker, and Peggy Herman Towns.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Waldrep, Cody Hopson, Sam Hopson, Jacob Castle, Joseph Weltch, Aaron Weltch. Taylor Weltch, and Bradley Taylor.
