Celebration of Life for Brenda Gail Carpenter Ryder, age 75, of Hartselle, will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Ryder, who died Friday, October 11, 2024, at her residence, was born April 7, 1949, in Alabama to William Carpenter and Maudie Terry Carpenter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ryder; son, Jimmy Dale Summerford; parents; four brothers, Billy Tidwell Terry, Glendon Dwight Carpenter, Troy Lendon Carpenter, and Danny Keith Carpenter.
She is survived by her brother, Terry Don Carpenter; sister, Mary Ann Carter; three grandchildren, Justin Coy Summerford, Ashley Paige Haggermaker, and Jordan Brianna Summerford; and six great-grandchildren, Jazzlynn Lashelle Summerford, Legacy May Summerford, Avah Lashae Summerford, Jordan Blake Haggermaker, Legend Kevin Colt Morrow, and Jackson Kyle Haggermaker.
