Brenda Gail Byrd Leighton, age 64, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, March 21, 2016 at her home, surrounded by family. She was a native of Wayne County, TN, retired from the City of Lawrenceburg, and a member of New Prospect Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Lando and Rachel Odessa Bradley Byrd; and nephew, Alexander Grant Byrd.

She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and countless friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 23, 2016, with Jerry Dryden officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Wayne County, TN.
