Brenda Gail Westmoreland Profile Photo Brenda Gail Baker Westmoreland, 72, Maury County native, died October 11, 2023, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services for Mrs. Westmoreland will be conducted Sunday, October 15, 2023 at 3:00 P.M at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Joey Westmoreland officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Born January 2, 1951, in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Leonard Baker and Betty Ruth Brunson Baker Massey. She was married to Steven Lewis Westmoreland, who preceded her in death. Brenda worked for several years for Farm Bureau in Columbia TN, and later moved to Hampton Cove, AL where she worked as a Pharmacy Tech for Rite Aid. In later years, she made her home in Republic Mo. Brenda loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed crocheting, listening to music, and was a big Vol’s fan. She was a member of Brookline Church of Christ, in Brookline Missouri.

Survivors include her daughters, Stephanie (Jason) Durham of Owens Crossroads, AL and Callie (Tim) Wilkins of Republic, MO; grandchildren, Brandon Durham, Logan Durham, Brodie Westmoreland, Harper Westmoreland, Ryan Hendrix, Autumn Wilkins, Brady Wilkins, Adalee Wilkins, Cora Wilkins, Nash Wilkins; great grandchildren, Stellah Durham and Coven Durham; sister Sherry (Steve) Carroll of Columbia; brother, Keith Oop Baker (Rhonda Reed) of Columbia; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Steven Brent Westmoreland; brother, Rusty Baker; and Nephew Jeremy Allen.
