Brenda C. Lambert, 69, of Saulsbury, TN passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Jackson – Madison County General Hospital. Born in Bolivar, TN on October 25, 1952 to the late Otis Lauvaughn and Jo Ann Slaton Sweat, she was a lifelong resident of Hardeman County, graduated from Middleton High School and worked several years in garment factory work. Brenda loved her family above everything else and enjoyed caring for them. She was the true light in all of her family’s lives. She always had a joke to tell to make you smile and enjoyed writing poetry in her younger years. Brenda gave to others and sacrificed her needs to be sure someone else had what they needed. She never complained about anything but would smile and say, “God’s go it all in his hands”. Brenda was saved and loved the Lord with her whole heart and will forever be remembered in the hearts of her family and friends. Visitation is scheduled from 5-9 pm Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Saulsbury. A Celebration of Brenda’s life will be held at 11 am Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church officiated by Bro. Ricky Watkins. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers include Chucky Lambert, Timmy Lambert, Mark Lambert, Ricky Cannon, Cody Brinson, and LaDarius Kunst. Magnolia Funeral Home – East is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Brenda’s memory include her husband, James Freddy Lambert Sr., her children, James Freddy Lambert Jr., Lisa Ann Thrasher (Tim), and Toby Rowland Lambert; her grandchildren, Chelsea Mills, Miranda Mills, Adreana Mills, Marissa Mills, Ashton Massengill, Ayden Thrasher, Aaron Thrasher, Zach Lambert, and Damien Lambert; 8 great grandchildren; her step granddaughter, Tabitha Peal; her brothers, Qulin Sweat (Pat), Ralph Sweat, and Dennis Sweat; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her son, Randle Lauvaughn Lambert; her grandson, Austin Mills; and her sister, Faye Sweat.
