Bre Na’ Medcalf

Bre Na’ Medcalf died Monday, June 17, 2024, at her residence in Tupelo. She was 30 years old. Bre Na’ was born on April 25, 1994, to Ronnie Medcalf, Sr. and Veronica Hunt Medcalf in Tupelo, Mississippi. Bre Na’ accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, where she was an active choir member. She graduated from Tupelo High School in 2012, where she was part of the 2011 Volleyball Championship team.

Bre Na’ continued her education at the University of Southern Mississippi, where she earned her degree in education. She was loving, sweet, beautiful and kind. Bre Na’ was a songbird, she was also an avid volleyball player in high school. She was a daddy’s girl and her mother’s world. Bre Na’ was talented in many areas and will be missed immensely.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024, in Verona, Mississippi at the Mt. Zion M.B. Church with Pastor Donnell Nichols officiating. Visitation will be from 11 AM to service time. Burial will be private. Holland Funeral Directors is honored to serve their friends.

Bre Na’ is survived by her parents, Ronnie and Veronica Medcalf; brother, Ronnie Medcalf, Jr. of Tupelo, and sisters, Kenisha Medcalf-Burdine (Maurice) of Okolona, Cinda Medcalf of Tupelo, and Laressia Thomas of Jackson, TN; her grandfather, Andrew Lee Medcalf of Verona; nieces and nephews, Skylar Medcalf, Alyeriah Haynes, Gavin Medcalf, and special niece Marlee Burdine; and two special aunts, Vickie White (Titus) of Tupelo, and Sarah Hunt of Tupelo and special cousins, LaDrakus Hunt and Hannah White. Bre Na’ leaves to cherish her memories a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
