Brant Newman Brant Newman, 36, of Savannah, passed from this life Friday, May 21, 2021 at Hardin County Medical Center in Savannah.

He was born Wednesday, November 17, 1984, in Memphis, the son of Terry & Deborah Newman of Bolivar and had worked as a surveyor for about 1 1/2 years with F.M. Consulting Co. in Savannah. He was a member of the NRA and a former member of the NWTF, enjoying hunting and fishing. He was known to be an avid outdoorsman, arrow hunting and cooking. His hobbies included playing frisbee, listening to music and watching the Nashville Predators, of whom he was a huge fan. Mr. Newman got some of his greatest fulfillment from being around his nieces, whom he dearly loved, his dogs and his guns. Mr. Newman was a member of the Assembly of God church.

Survivors include his parents, Terry & Deborah Newman of Bolivar; a sister, Brandi Newman of Adamsville; a brother, TJ Newman of North Carolina; and four nieces, Anna Baughn, Lauren Newman, Ava Creasy & Alli Newman. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Thelma Kirk Parmer and James W. Kirk; and his paternal grandparents, Edward G. Newman and Vivian Joyce Stewart.
