Funeral service for Brandon Ross Turner, 29, of Hillsboro will be Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Brandon Stricklin and Brother Kenny Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Turner, who died Sunday, June 29, 2014, was born August 7, 1984, in Morgan County to Gary Lynn Turner II and Adonna Marie Turner. He worked for Wayne Farms. He enjoyed video games, drums and spoiling his nieces and nephew. Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gary Lynn and Sandra Kathleen Turner, Jerry T. Swindle and his stepgrandfather, Larry Damron.
Survivors include his parents, Gary and Adonna Turner; his grandmother, Joann Eddings-Damron; two brothers, William Harris Turner (Erika) and Gary Lynn Turner III, both of Hillsboro; best friend, Ben Troutman; uncles and aunts, James and Lisa Turner, Joey Swindle, Lynn Lindley and Bobby and Amanda Swindle; cousins, Chris, Joey, Sabrina, Shannon, Lucas, Alex, Bryon, Nathan and Katie; nephew, Reuben Turner, and nieces, Viktoria Marie Turner and Mary Kathleen Turner, all of Hillsboro.
Pallbearers will be Ray Powers, Brandon Smith, Joey Cook, Eric Jenkins, Bryan Montgomery and Josh James.
