Bradley Ray Koon, 50, resident of Tippah County, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Tuesday May 9, 2023.

Funeral Services remembering Brad will be at 11 AM Saturday May 13, 2023, in the Heritage Chapel of The Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Doc Shelton and Bro. Lane Finley officiating. Burial will follow in Lowry Cemetery.

Born March 23, 1973, in New Albany, Brad is the son of Linda Ruth Bates Koon of Ripley and the late Ray Koon. He was a 1991 graduate of Pine Grove High School and was a valued employee of the Bilt-Rite Corporation for 30 years.

A Christian, Brad never shied away from work and was known to be quite the “Shade Tree “mechanic. He had the enginuity to fix about anything whether or not he had the proper tools. His spare time was continuously helping anyone, and always with a smile. An avid outdoorsman, he found pleasure in hog hunting, riding ATVs, sitting around with friends, and enjoying the simple things in life.

To know Brad was to love him. He loved deeply, laughed constantly, and had a generous heart. Family meant everything to him, and he often could be found happiest when around them. Brad’s life made a difference to all those he knew, and his fun-loving personality and kindheartedness will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be 5 PM until 8 PM Friday May 12, 2023, at The Ripley Funeral Home.

In addition to his wife, Mandy Wommack Koon, memories will continue to be shared by, seven sons, Christopher Koon (Whitney), Tyler Lindsey (Paris), Chase Koon (Meagan), Caleb Koon (Amber), Zach Koon (Shelby), Colton Koon and Carter Koon, one daughter, Meagan Agnew (Anfernee), his mother, Linda Ruth Koon, two sisters, Tammie Ralph (Travis) and Jennifer Jackson (Kerry), six grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
