It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bradley Murdock Tate, a beloved son, brother, grandson, cousin and friend to many, who left us on July 14, 2023, at the young age of 26.
Born on October 11, 1996, in Huntsville, Alabama. Bradley brought joy, love and light into the lives of all who knew him. He was a loving person who was always kind and would show his kindness through his friendly smile. His memory will forever be cherished.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents Jack and Mary Maxwell Huntsville, Alabama, his father David Michael Tate Jr. his, bonus father Tracy Taylor. He leaves behind his mother Amy Beth Taylor, his sisters Kelly, Jenny, Mary and Marley, as well as his brother Jack; His grandparents Scott Maxwell, Judy Calvin, Michael Tate and Carrie (Paul) Byrne; His Aunt Christy (Mike) Pinkerton; His Uncle Kent Taylor; His Cousins Nathan, Elijah, Eliegha and Emileigh; And Lots of family and friends who loved him dearly, no matter what name they called him by whether it was Brad, B-rad, Red or even Baby Red.
Upon graduating from Decatur High School, Brad joined the United States Army in 2016. He spent 6 years as a 91 B Wheeled Mechanic for the 5th Group Special Forces. After completing two tours in Iraq and one tour in Syria, he chose a job and a new adventure in St. George, Utah, where he met his girlfriend, Rudi Marquez-Rees and her two sons, Colton and Ryder Stucki.
Bradley’s presence will be missed, but our memories of him will forever reside in the hearts and minds of those who had the pleasure and privilege of knowing him.
There will be a service of remembrance on Friday, August 4th at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Valhalla Funeral Home, you may visit with the family from 2:00 – 3:45 pm prior to the service. Graveside services will follow immediately in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
