Graveside Services for Brad Powell will be Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery in Ashland with Rev. Noel Vickers officiating.
Brad was born in Birmingham and spent all his life in Clay County. He loved his family and all his pets, especially his dog. Always quick to make friends he would help anyone he could. Brad had a great love for old cars and trucks and enjoyed turning wrenches on everything.
He is survived by his sister, Loni Mitchell(Ben) of Trussville; nieces, Emma Grace, Hadley and Fallon; grandmother, Ida Mae Kerr; aunts and uncles, Michael Kerr(Peggy), Randy Kerr(Angelia), Jacque Kerr and Huey Powell; a large group of cousins and other extended family members and friends.
He was preceded by his parents, Wayne and Martha Powell; grandparents, Charlie Kerr and Hubert and Alvie Powell, and uncle Bill Kerr.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville is in charge of the arrangements.
