Funeral service for Brad Kingsbury, 69, will be Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, August 15, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Kingsbury died on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. He was born December 30, 1944, in Michigan to Merrill Bradford Kingsbury, Sr. and Marie Violet Hawkins Kingsbury. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran serving from 1963-1968 as a Drill Instructor. He was a lifetime member of ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Association), a member of the American Satin Rabbit Breeders and an ARBA Judge. He also was a member of the American Legion Post # 15 in Decatur.
Brad was an outgoing man that never met a stranger that he wouldn’t help or talk to. He was a loving, cheerful, positive, outgoing husband, father and grandfather. He worked in the trucking industry for 50 years and was employed by Ike Transportation as a Truck Driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother: Gary Kingsbury, Sr. of Vicksburg, MI

The 35th Combat Engineers will sorely miss Brad. He was so devoted to the reunions and a good friend to many. May God be with you, his family and friends, as you grieve his loss.
