Bornnie Ginstead, 89, of Huntsville passed away Saturday. She was born to A.D.Todd and Linnie Scott in Wildersville, TN.
Bonnie and John met at Bethel College, where she was the prom queen and he was a star athlete. Once married, they had two sons, John Jr. and Michael. The family moved from Milan, TN to Huntsville, where Bonnie worked at the Army Missile Command during the Hellfire Missile program.
Bonnie was a strong willed woman who was very good with facts and figures and had an uncanny sense of knowing the exact placement of where anything was in her home. Mrs. Grinstead was deeply beloved by family and friends and loved spending time with each and every one of them. Mrs. Grinstead was preceded in death by her husband, John Harold Grinstead Sr. She is survived by sons, John Jr. and Michael Grinstead; and grandsons, Connor and Brandon Grinstead.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 27 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow with Bob Blackburn officiating. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery.
