Bonnie Sue Strickland, 78, of Iuka, MS, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017, at her residence in Iuka. Bonnie Sue enjoyed going to church and was a very active member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Iuka. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Frank Wilson and Nathaniel Bullard. Interment will follow in the First Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jeremy Emerson, Jacob Emerson, Wesley Strickland, Justin Strickland, Christopher Parson, and Clay Parsons. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Derek Strickland. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. She is survived by her sons, Tim Strickland (Vicky), Scott Strickland (Robbie), and Jason Strickland (Tia); her daughters, Susan Strickland (Ricky Jeans) and Janie Emerson (Dewayne); her grandchildren, Jessica Parson (Clay), Justin Strickland (Stephanie), Wesley Strickland (Erin), Jennifer Strickland, Jeremy Emerson (Wendy), Jamie Emerson (Jessica) and Jacob Emerson; and her great grandchildren, Christopher, Callie, Cullen, Cadence, Derek, Paden, Riley, Reagan, Jacob, Jeremy, and Ricky. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Ray Strickland and her parents, Fred and Byrdie Mae Alred. Memorials may be made to the building fund at First Freewill Baptist Church in Iuka.
