Bonnie Spencer Gober, age 88, of Red Bay, passed away Tuesday,
October 18, 2022.
Bonnie was a beloved Mother & Grandmother, and will be missed dearly. She had an energetic personality with an infectious smile. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, L.T. Gober (Bonnie P.); grandson, Greg Gober (Lauren); granddaughter, Leslie Thorne (Michael); great-grandchildren, Libby Thorne, Hudson Thorne, Griggs Gober; sister, Betty Mahan; as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other family that she loved dearly.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Gober and parents, Joe and Martha Spencer.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 11am-1pm at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Red Bay with the funeral following at 1pm. Bro. Randy Hargett and Bro. Micah Fleming will officiate. Interment will be in Burleson Cemetery, Vina.
Pallbearers will be Robert Lewis Gober, Ricky Young, Ralph Winchester, Chris Berry, Carl Lewey and Steve Bostick.
