Bonnie S. Roland Swendsrud, 83, Florence, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. Visitation will be Sunday, July 14, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Stanley Luntungan officiating. Interment will be in Guy Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Bonnie Sue was a member of Shoals Seventh-day Adventist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother and she loved to read. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ardell Swendsrud; parents, Clarence and Claudine Roland; sister, Doris Stout; and brothers, Wayne and Donald Roland.
Bonnie Sue is survived by her children, Darlene McCaig (Alan), Marsha Belk (Mike), James Payton (Linda), and Regina Payton; grandchildren, Benjamin Belk, Jordan McCaig, Deven Kinkead, Morgan Ashe, and Sean Kinkead; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
