Bonnie Rose Terry Matthews, 63, of Athens, passed away on Friday, June 28th, 2024, at her residence. Mrs. Matthews was born on January 8th, 1961, in California, to Jessie and Norma Jean (green) Terry.
Mrs. Matthews is survived by her husband Danny Matthews; daughters Melissa Legg (Matt) of Hartselle, AL, Debbie Swain of Athens, AL, and Sarah Kirkpatrick (Donald) of Athens, AL; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and brother Joey Terry of Northern California.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Matthews’ greatest joy was her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
