Bonnie R. Brandon, age 96 of Estill Springs, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024, at her residence. She was born in Winchester on January 1, 1928, to the late Roscoe Ray Sells and Johnnie Mae McGriff. Bonnie, also known as “Grammie” and “Aunt Bonnie” always said to be humble and kind and lived by that example. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, spending time with family, and cooking, especially her famous dill pickles. Bonnie also loved her reality tv shows, “The Young and the Restless” and “Judge Judy”. Bonnie was a proud member of the Harris Chapel United Methodist Church and was their oldest member. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Brandon; daughter, Sharon Annette Brandon; and siblings, James Edward Sells, Emogene Farris, Doris Sells, Bill Sells, Brooks Sells, and Shirley Larkin. Bonnie is survived by her sons, Kenny (Kathy) Brandon, Mike Brandon; grandchildren, Jase (Melanie) Brandon, Kristin Brandon Black, Ben Brandon, Tiffiny (Chad) Walton; great-grandchildren, Jesse Brandon, Jenna (Ryan) McBee, A.J. Brandon, Tyler (Chloe) Walton, Paige (Dylan) McElhaney, Sarah Brandon, Leah Black; great-great-grandchildren, J.B. Brandon, Haiden Brandon, Beau Brooks Walton; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 11am-2pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 2pm on Sunday, October 27, 2024, with Rev.
