Bonnie (McKinley) Ross, 88, of Owens Cross Road, AL died July 27, 2019 at her home. She was born February 2, 1931, to Murphy and Myrtie McKinley in Clarke County, AL.
She married Gadson Ross on June 7, 1953 in Greensboro, Al. She was a schoolteacher for 29 years stating in Chicago, IL then moving to Mobile, Al and then finishing Huntsville, AL. She was a member of Southeast Church of the Nazarene for many years.
Her parents and son, Charles Ross, precede her.
Left to cherish Bonnie are her husband, Gadson Ross, Daughter, Janice Ross Talley and husband Greg, seven grandchildren; Jacob Hillis and wife Christian, Jared Hillis, Jenna Hillis, Alora Ross, Blake Talley, Andrew Talley, Anna Talley, and 2 great grandchildren Easton and Hayden Hillis.
Visitation will be on Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm with a Funeral Service at 2:00pm lead by Pastor Byron Brown, at Valhalla Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
