Funeral services for Ms. Bonnie Johnson, age 98 are scheduled for 3pm Monday in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with burial to follow in Henderson County Memory Gardens. Ms. Johnson passed away early Saturday morning in Lexington. She was a registered Nurse and a Member of Sandridge Baptist Church where she was active for many years. She also enjoyed volunteering at Henderson County Community Hospital and Community outreach programs. She was born November 4, 1924, in Marion County Tn. to the late Joe and Carrie Mayfield. Ms. Johnson is preceded in death by husband- James M. Johnson, 4 brothers- Clarence Mayfield, Edwin Mayfield, Carl Mayfield and Bill Mayfield one sister-Ms. Lennie Mayfield and grandson- Jason Johnson. Survivors include one son John Johnson (Jody), one daughter- Helen Smith, grandchildren- Jennifer Dyer, Jason Dyer, Jessica Robertson, Chris Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, Shasta Melton and 19 great- grandchildren.
