Bonnie Cheryl Tucker Carter of Toney, Alabama passed away at her home while under hospice care on Thursday, October 17, 2024.  Bonnie Cheryl was born on July 25, 1945 at home in Hazel Green, Alabama.

She had managed J.C. Bonnie Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, JW and Ruby Atlas Tucker, and her great-grandson, Jackson Hill.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her children: Johnny Carter (Kathy), Melissa McAlister (Michael), Bonnie Meciala Rausch (John), and Carlos Carter (Stephanie).  her eight grandchildren: Jasen Carter(Tabitha), Maegan Robinson (Matt), Amanda Rutherford (Stacy), Carter McAlister (Niki), John Tyler Rausch (Pam), Cody Rausch (Sindy), Colton Rausch, and Madison Carter.

She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren: Carter Mae Robinson, Macy Hill, Brooklyn Billings, and Ailah Billings, Atlas McAlister, Arto Rausch, Atlas Rausch, and James Rausch.

There will be a graveside service on Sunday at 2pm at Bevill’s Cemetery with Brother Travis Creasy officiating.  The family welcomes friends to visit in the cemetery following the service.

Bonnie Cheryl will be remembered for her love for others and for the joy she found in being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
