Body Found In Etowah County Could Be Linked To Missing Person Case

ETOWAH COUNTY-A body has been recovered that could be linked to that of a missing Etowah County man according to Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin.

The body was found on Wednesday, June 15 around 5:30 P.M. at a property on Black Bottom Road in Boaz. The body has been transported to Huntsville for autopsy.

According to investigators two persons of interest are in custody and are being interviewed by Etowah County Sheriff’s investigators.

Wesley Clifton has been missing since Saturday, June 11. He was last seen on June 7 when he did not show up for work. Investigators have not confirmed that the body found is that of Clifton.
