Bobbye Raymelle Lipscomb Finley age 92 passed away October 8, 2016 at Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born January 19, 1924 in Henderson, Chester County, the daughter of the late Robert David and Emma Lou Newsome Lipscomb. She attended schools in Chester County and graduated Chester County High School. She married David Finley of Jackson. They made their home in Memphis for a while and later moved to Henderson. She worked for Harmon Automotive Company, making car parts. Mr. Finley died in 1976. She continued to make her home in Henderson.
She loved her dogs, working in the garden and especially loved spending time with her family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Henderson.
Mrs. Finley is survived by a granddaughter, Sarah Finley Ellis and husband Joe of Henderson and two great grandchildren, Benjamin Ellis and Isaac Ellis both of Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David Finley in 1976 and a son, Bobby Finley in 2013.
Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Dr. Roy Sharp officiating.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel beginning at 10:00 AM Wednesday.
