Mr. Bobby William Wallace, 81, of Florence passed away on December 22, 2015. He was retired from Petrolane/Amerigas as general manager after 39 years. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and children. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 26, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. -12 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service following in Greenview Memorial Park at 12 noon with John Richards officiating.
Mr. Wallace was preceded in death by his parents, Shelvy and Roxie Wallace and his nephews Barry Balentine and Jason Jackson.
Survivors include his son, Keith Wallace ( Exie) of Florence; daughters, Pam Gist (Hal) of Florence, Rhonda Jeffreys (Terry) of Florence and Wanda Bracken(Randy) of Tuscumbia; brother, Billy Wallace (Dot); sisters, Evelyn LaRue (Scott), Alma Ruth Glover (Dee), Dean Jackson (Jon), Dorothy Balentine (Sonny), Maxine Robinson (A.D.) , Patricia Sharp (Tim), and Glenda Bevis (Wayne); grandchildren, Lauren Robertson, Justin Jeffreys (Morgan), Katelyn Gist, Barclay Wallace and Zack Bracken; and the mother of his children, Iva Barkley Wallace.
Grandsons and family will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Ricky Irons, Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital 6th floor staff, and Christy Johnson along with Reena, Amanda and Abby for all of their loving care.
