Bobby W. Barksdale, 68, died Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at the Red Bay Hospital. He was born in Franklin County, AL and worked at Tiffin Motor Homes, Red Bay, AL.
Graveside services will be Friday, August 21, 2 p.m. at Halltown Cemetery, Vina, AL with Bro. Adam Humphries officiating. Burial will be in Halltown Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of fifty years – Gale Barksdale, Red Bay, AL; two children – Chris Barksdale and Steven Barksdale (Marsha); eight grandchildren – Jordan Barksdale (Paige), Keith Seal (Christina), Kayla Fowler (Brandon), Tyler Harris (Chainy Flanagan), Estell Barksdale, Donald Barksdale, Sam Messer and Doug Messer; eight great-grandchildren; one sister – Marie Cole; three brothers – David Barksdale (Mary), Joel Barksdale and Lebern Barksdale.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Riley and Ida Lindsey Barksdale; brother, Curt Barksdale and daughter-in-law – Gracie Barksdale.
Pallbearers will be Jordan Barksdale, Tyler Harris, Donald Barksdale, Brandon Fowler, Doug Messer and Sam Messer.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 20, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
