Bobby "Pete" Thrasher Profile PhotoFuneral services for Bobby Thrasher, 81 of Corinth are set for Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 2pm at Tishomingo Chapel Baptist Church with interment in Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 5pm-8pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – South on Hwy 45 South and Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 1pm-2pm at Tishomingo Chapel Baptist Church.  Bro. Phillip Caples and Bro. Lynn Prather will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Robert Waldon, John Paul Waldon, Ronnie Odle, Jimmy Parish, Wesley Odle, Stanley Nelms, Billy Mitchell and Lonnie McKee. Bobby was born September 30, 1942 in Alcorn County, MS., which was his home for 81 blessed years. December 10, 2023 he went to his eternal Heavenly home to be with his Lord and Savior. Bobby was proud to be a member and deacon of Tishomingo Chapel Baptist Church. He was married to Syble Parish Thrasher for 59 ½ years. They were parents of 2 children, whom he loved dearly. He is also survived by his son, Scott Neal Thrasher; one granddaughter, Jayce Kate Thrasher; a much loved daughter-in-law, Sonya Gail Thrasher and many of dear family and special friends. Bobby was a graduate of Kossuth High School and he served time in the U. S. Army. After a few jobs, he became an over the road truck driver and saw most all of our great country. He retired from Overnite Transportation. In retirement he valued time spent with his family and enjoyed gospel music. Those that preceded him in death were his daughter, Ginger Thrasher; parents, Robert Thrasher and Lula Leatherwood Thrasher; his sisters, Lillie Odle (Cecil), Lizzie Linville (Marlin) and Alyene Nelms (Lester). Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Bobby “Pete” Thrasher.
