Bobby Thompson, age 77, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at NHC Healthcare of Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, owner of Thompson & Associates Furniture, and a member of New Prospect United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Carrie Gunnell Thompson; and his wife, Alice Holt Thompson.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, September 12, 2014 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Saturday, September 13, 2014, with Billy Beal and John Blair officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Middle Tennessee or A Kid’s Place/ A Child Advocacy Center.
