Bobby S. Butram, 92, Sheffield, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 16, at Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield, beginning at 1:00 p.m., with Jaina Glaze officiating.
Bobby was a native of Arab but spent most of her life in Sheffield. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Sheffield, and retired from TVA. Bobby was preceded in death by her husband, K. E. “Kennie” Butram; parents, John and Ora Skidmore; twin brother, Billy Skidmore; and sisters, Inez Hawk, Muriel Grimes, and Jean Black (Sam).
Bobby is survived by her daughter, Kathy Butram Carter; granddaughter, Jennifer Dunn Martin (Tristan); great-grandson, Cooper Martin; and many loving nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers will be Tristan Martin, Sam Black, Phillip Graham, Jacob Graham, and Matthew Thompson.
The family expresses heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Hospice of North Alabama, especially Ginny and Amanda; and to precious friend, Amy Staggers Schell, who has been here for us continually and has been our rock.
