Bobby Ray Frith – Obituary

Bobby Ray Frith, 83, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Sanctuary Hospice House after a lengthy illness. He was born in Louisiana, the son of Charles Henry and Allie Elizabeth Denman Frith. He grew up in South Mississippi. Bobby proudly served his country with a 30 year military career in the U.S. Navy, serving on submarines all over the world. After his retirement he then began his second career as an electrician with Tecumseh Products. Bobby enjoyed fishing, coin collecting, and loved the time he spent with his grandchildren.

Services will be 1 pm Friday at the Lee Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Bobby leaves behind his five children, Le Anne Vance of Brandon, FL, Kathy Sides (Steve) of Madison, AL, Bobby Frith (Bridgett) of Bossier City, LA, Shelley Bates (Steve) of Saltillo and Christie Strain (Gray) of Tupelo; one sister, Faye McIntosh of Atlanta, GA; twelve grandchildren, Joe Vance, David Vance, Matt Sides, Chris Sides, Lexi Sides, Braden Frith, Bailey Frith, Bralin Frith, Emily Bates, Jake Bates, Kaitlynn Parrish, and Ali Strain; two great-grandchildren, Dorothy Parrish and Stella Viviano.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Helen Frith who passed away Nov. 10, 2007; three brothers and one sister.

Pallbearers will be Steve Bates, Steve Sides, Gray Strain and Ronnie Frith.

Visitation will be 4-7 PM Thursday. Memorials may be made to Sanctuary Hospice House.
