Bobby Ray was born on October 20, 1936, in Lawrence County, Tennessee. He departed from this life on June 13, 2024, at the age of 87, surrounded by his family.
Bobby Ray was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather.
He was a longtime employee and retiree of Murray Ohio. He taught auto body at Lawrenceburg Vocational School for several years. He also served several terms as Lawrence County’s County Commissioner. He also sat on multiple county committees.
He was an avid gardener, fisherman, and auto body repairman. When he wasn’t casting a line or plowing a field, he was tinkering on something in his shop. He could build or fix anything. He rode many miles on his little blue four-wheeler along with his dogs Mac and Lucy. He was an antique car collector and enjoyed hunting. He and Eva Nell loved going and listening to bluegrass music at numerous local places.

Wife: Eva Nell Clifton of 66 years and 9 months
2 daughters: Linda Gail Pigg(Jimmy) & Cynthia Diane Germano(John)
3 grandchildren: Margo Simpson(Jason), Wes Germano(Joanna), Emmy Murray(Brandon)
10 great grandchildren: Kinsey Canerday(Dylan), Jacey Simpson, Easton Simpson,
Nora McCormack, Ethan Murray, Braelee Murray, Tanner Murray, Dylan Germano,
Dawson Germano & Tanner Thornton
1 great-great grandchild: Waylon Canerday

Visitation will be on Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 12:00pm – 2:00pm, at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm, in the funeral home chapel, with Mike Ayers officiating. Burial will be at Loretto Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be: Jason Simpson, Wes Germano, Brandon Murray, Dylan Canerday, Easton Simpson & Tim Lamprecht.
