Bobby Ray “B.R” Landers, age 69, of Cullman, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at his home.

Big Ray, as he was known by his family, lived a life of charity; he showed love and compassion towards others, particularly those in need. Throughout his life he overcame many obstacles, staying positive the whole time. No matter what, he was the one who could put a smile on your face. Forever the optimist, B.R was a lifelong Auburn fan in a sea of crimson and white. Later in life when asked how he was doing, he loved to remind you that you couldn’t keep a one legged man down.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Jack H. Landers and Freida Landers; sister, Wanda K Landers, and brother, Jack Harvey Landers Jr.

Ray is survived by his partner, Donna Coley; children, son, Ray Landers, Florence, AL; daughter, Carrie Landers King (husband Will), Tuscumbia, AL; stepdaughter Heather Seay, Cullman; two stepgrandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and so many friends he made along the way.

In lieu of any flowers or gifts, the family would like you to consider donating to your local homeless shelter.
