Funeral service for Bobby R King, 76, will be Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Penn officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Mt Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, March 21, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. King died on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born April 13, 1937, in Morgan County to Gilbert Eugene King, Sr. and Mary Eugie Ward King. He was a member and deacon of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He retired from Monsanto in 1992 after 36 years of service and owned and operated Kings Antiques. He loved his children and grandchildren dearly. Mr. King was preceded in death by a brother: Gilbert Eugene King and a sister: Hilma Murphy.
