Funeral service for Bobby R. Cleghorn, 89, will be Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Arley Congregational Church with Darin Cleghorn officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Arley Congregational Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Arley Congregational Church.
Mr. Cleghorn died on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Summerford Nursing Home. He was born January 19, 1935, in Winston County, to Garland Grover Cleghorn and Ruby Welch Cleghorn.
He was a very caring, helpful person, loved the unlovable and always showed mercy and grace. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who helped lots of people. He enjoyed farming, golf, Alabama football and his Dog, Riley.
Preceding him in death were his wife Ivanelle, his parents, brothers: James, Neal, Leon and Kenneth Cleghorn, a sister: Betty Williams, two grandchildren: Hayley Cleghorn and Kelly Thomas and a daughter-in-law: Marie Cleghorn.
