Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Nelson Choate, age 78, will be Thursday March 21, 2024, at 1pm in the chapel of Shelton Funeral Home, with Mike Kemper officiating. Visitation will be from 10am until 1pm service time Thursday March 21, 2024, in the chapel of Shelton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at White Hall Cemetery in Trenton, TN.
Mr. Choate went to be with the Lord and Savior on March 19, 2024. He was born September 9, 1945, in Linden, TN.
Mr. Choate will be cherished and remembered for all his love, hard work, and sacrifices by his family. He was a faithful servant to his church and community. Anyone who ever knew him will remember him for his ability to make you laugh and smile. The local farming community will remember him for his years of service at the John Deer place and his willingness to help anyone who was in need.
Mr. Choate was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Vada Lucille (Parrish) Choate; and his brothers, William Albert Choate, Auther Henery Choate, and Sammy Smith Choate.
Mr. Choate is survived by his wife of 58 years, Linda Ruth (Martin) Choate; two daughters, Jennifer Bryant (Bruce) and Jill Brown (Jerry); a brother, Jerry Davis Choate; two grandchildren, Devan Chance Roe and Hannah Noel Forsythe; and one great granddaughter, Ella Rose Forsythe.
