BOBBY LYNN BOLTON
June 11, 1963 – December 26, 2023
Bobby left this life on Tuesday, December 26,2023 at the age of 60, due to a massive stroke from which he could not recover. Bobby was born June 11, 1963, to Wilburn (Bud) and Marguerite Watkins Bolton. He was the youngest of his seven siblings. Bobby was a native of and resided in Pontotoc for most of his life, but he did live in Memphis, New Orleans and Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at times. He served a short stint in the US Army. His last employment was with Comfort Air in Tupelo, which he left for health reasons and made his way after, doing handyman repairs. Bobby had a huge heart, and he spent the last few years attending to our mother, until her death in August of this year. Survivors include: his children, James Robert Bolton of Waco, Texas, Jonathan Paul Bolton (Amelia) of Pontotoc, Jessica Lynn Bolton Hanson (David) of Pontotoc and Joshua David Bolton of Walker, Louisiana. His grandchildren: James Antony Bolton, Ealon Blade Riddling, Jaiden Paul Bolton (Bug), Zaiden Lane Bolton (Little Man), Paiden Kole Bolton (ButterBean) and Doriann Kash Hanson. His step-grandchildren: John David Hanson and Patience Michelle Hanson. His sisters: Brenda Bolton Horn (Frank), and Dianne Bolton Bolen (Therold). His brothers: Perry Bolton (Tina), David Bolton (Ann), and Timmy Bolton and many nieces and nephews.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Wilburn (Bud) Bolton, his mother, Marguerite Watkins Bolton Chiasson, his stepfather, Paul Chiasson, his brother, Larry Bolton, his sister, Sandra Bolton Fuller, his paternal grandparents William McKinley Bolton and Maybelle Dillard Bolton and his maternal grandparents Eugene Scott and Lettie Ann Yielding Watkins.
Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00PM with services at 2:00PM on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro Keith Benefield officiating. Burial will be in Cherry Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jaiden Bolton, Zaiden Bolton, Therold Bolen, Marty Bolen, Greg Hillensbeck, and Jimmie Russell. Honorary Pallbearers: Paiden Bolton and Brad Bolton.
