Mr. Bobby Leon White, 76, passed away at his home Friday April 10, 2015. He retired from the United States Marine Corp with 27 years service and was a heavy equipment operator. He was born in Palmer, Tennesse on March 12, 1939 to Allen Leo Bryant and Pearl Glisson White Bennett who preceded him in death along with his brother, Tim White.
He is survived by his son, Bobby Leon White II, Palmer; daughters, Terry (David) Knuebel, Wilmington, NC, Tammy (Lewin) Canady, Jacksonville, NC and Regina Beck of Palmer; sisters, Betty (Robert) Blaylock, Glenda Bays, Nancy Woppman, Kay White, Kathleen (Steve)Beckham and Sherry Nadaeu; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Mike Rigsby officiating with burial to follow in the Brown’s Chapel Cemetery.
