Funeral for Bobby Leon Garth Chapman, 62, of Priceville will be noon Monday at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home with Reynolds Funeral Home directing. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to the funeral. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 to 8 at Reynolds Funeral Home.
Bobby passed away at Huntsville Hospital on Thursday, July 9, 2015. He was born to Melvena Chapman Garth and the late Willie Anderson Garth on November 29, 1952. He was a retiree of 3M Company.
To honor his memory he leaves his wife, Linda Williams Chapman; one daughter, Montra Turney Fuqua of Hartselle; one stepdaughter, Makeba (Damond) Boatwright of Madison (WI); two sons, Tim (Tammy) Garth of Decatur, Korrie (Shannon) Chapman of Hartselle; eight sisters, Joyce Garth of Decatur, Jaye (Rydell) Allen of Hartselle, Faye (Clarence Powell) Garth McAfee of Chattanooga (TN), Sharon Garth of Huntsville, Teresa Hall of Decatur, Cynthia (Jeffrey) Garth Williams of Hartselle, Michelle Garth of Decatur and Shirley (Delshon) Bonney of Hartselle; and four brothers, Frederick Garth of Hartselle, Michael Garth of Decatur, Herman (Gerlene) Sharpley Jr. of Florence and Robert (Lisa) Sharpley of Hartselle and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Tevin Garth, Kevin Hoult, Ahmad Jackson, Miquel Valentin, Jahkese Garth, Maurice Burton, Dominic Powell, Khris Spann and Jordan Sharpley.
