Bobby Lee Peters – Obituary

Mr. Bobby Lee Peters of Toone departed this life Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. He was 70 years old.

Mr. Peters was born in Bolivar June 6, 1942 to the late Horace Sylvester Peters and Della Peters Schmitz and lived all of his life in the Hardeman County area. He worked at Bobby’s Gas Service selling propane, did construction work, and was a firefighter and a Hardeman County Rescue Squad member. Among his hobbies, he enjoyed deer and turkey hunting, fishing, grilling out with friends and spending time outdoors.

Survivors include three daughters, Cristy Brown and husband Steve of Brookland, Arkansas, Tiffany Peters of Cloverport, and Vanessa Richards of Nashville; a son, Scotty Peters of Nashville; a brother, James Peters of Salt Lake City, Utah; and six grandchildren, Avery and Jake Brown, Matthew McCallum, John David and Josh Richards, and Lindsy McKinley.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Eddie Beth Garrett and a nephew, Dustin Lee Baker.
