Bobby Lee James, 76, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Friday, November 30, 2012, at his residence. Mr. James was a member of the Iuka Baptist Church. He was a former law enforcement officer for the City of Iuka and the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Dept, and was the former owner and operator of B.J.’s Corner Café. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golf, and also loved to watch his grandchildren play sports. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, December 2, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 3, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Shandy Dill. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jeff Lyles, Keith Berryman, Gary Bullard, Johnny Woodruff, Randy Stringer, Jimmy James, and Casey James. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Ruby James of Iuka, MS; two daughters, Shelaine Butler and husband, James, and Beverly Butler and husband, Jeff, all of Iuka, MS; three brothers, Buddy James and Scotty James, both of Iuka, MS, and Larry “Tootie” James of Euless, TX; two sisters, Betty Hill of Iuka, MS, and Janie Marlow of Euless, TX; and four grandchildren, Gable Butler, Cade Butler, Jake Butler, and Mattie Butler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gresham and Lucille James; and a brother, Danny James. Memorial contributions may be made to the Iuka Baptist Church Multipurpose Building Fund.
