Bobby Lane Sanderson – Obituary

Funeral for Bobby Lane Sanderson, 70, of Decatur, will be Saturday, August 10, 2013, at 2:00 p.m.,at First United Methodist Church, Moulton, with Rev. Bobby Ray Halbrooks officiating and Elliott Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 12:00 to 1:45 p.m.at the church.
Bobby Lane Sanderson, who died Thursday, August 8th at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born December 11, 1942 to Tennis and Berlin Terry Sanderson.
He was a graduate of L.C. H. S and Auburn University; owner of Sanderson Truck Sales for over 40 years.
He was a member of The Gideons International and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and their choir, who sang at Canegie Hall in 2006.
He is survived by one brother, Arthur W. Sanderson and wife Annette; nephews, Scott Sanderson and wife Cathy of Moulton, and Bart Sanderson and wife Kate of Seattle, Washington; special friend, Helen Holland,
Great nieces, Laura Lee Wood & husband Neal , Grace and Jemma Sanderson; great nephew, Oliver Wood.
Pallbearers will be; Dwight Sanderson, Harry Montgomery, Willard Terry, Gerald Terry, Andy Montgomery, Rip Proctor and Alan Swafford.
Honorary pallbears will be; Men’s SS Class of Trinity United Methodist Church ; Members of Gideons International and all his trucking friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Gideons International for distribution of Bibles.
