Bobby Joe Tucker departed this life on Friday, February 14, 2014, at the age of 62 years, 8 months, 9 days.
He was born in Mississippi on June 5, 1951, the son of the late Lester Lafayette and Bonnie Ruth Glover Tucker. Bobby Joe loved hunting, fishing, spending time with his children and family. He had worked for TVA and Ellie Meyers.
Bobby Joe is survived by his wife, Teresa Parson Tucker of Corinth, Mississippi; children, Lynn Holloway and husband Hal of San Antonio, Texas, JoJo Gardner and husband Chris of Corinth, Mississippi, Brandy Moore and husband Greg of Rogersville, Alabama, Trista Tucker of of Corinth, Mississippi, and Bobby Joe “B.J” Tucker, II of Corinth, Mississippi; grandchildren, Brittany Garvin, Erika Holloway, Chris Gardner, Jr., Faith Holloway, Taylor Moore, and Jesse Gardner; great grandchildren, Maddy Garvin, Halle Garcia, Justin Garvin, and Emma Garvin; siblings, Lester “Bud” Tucker, Jr. of Corinth, Mississippi, JD “Jake” Tucker of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Betty Whitaker and husband Lloyd of Iuka, Mississippi; Ruby Faye “Doly” Burns of Burnsville, Mississippi, Patricia “Trisha” Barber and husband Junior of Burnsville, Mississippi, Nelda King and husband Carlos of Booneville, Mississippi.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary “Tootsie” Marlar and brother-in-law, Harold Burns.
