Bobby Joe Matthews 77 of Albertville passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Marshall Medical Center South.
His Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Albertville Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at White Oak Cemetery. Rev. Gary Smith Jr. and Rev. Paul Trussell will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Jason Matthews, Joey Dake, Justin Dake, Hunter Matthews, Kalon Matthews, Jordan Elliott, Honorary Pallbearers are Randy Bryan, Kamran Matthews, Caden Matthews.
Mr. Matthews is survived by his Wife; Lois Ann Matthews, Children; Laura Bryan (Randy), Rose Founty (Johnny), Sherry Drake (Theron), John Matthews (Evelyn), Chris Matthews (Tammy), 10 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, Half Brother; Jimmy Butler, Half Sisters; Wanda Kingsley, Lisa Minor. He is preceded in death by his Parents; Jesse and Vera Matthews, Brother; Larry Matthews, Sister; Gloria Matthews.
Bobby was an avid Auburn Football Fan. He loved spending time with his family, grandchildren that he dearly loved, playing softball and gardening he also loved all kinds of history mainly Indian Artifacts.
