Bobby Joe Cupples was born December 16, 1937 in Jackson, TN, the son of the late William and Lillian Sanders Cupples. He was united in marriage to Doris Carolyn Martindale on June 13, 1962. He was a member of Gospel Tabernacle in Corinth, MS. He worked for Ford Motor Company for many years. He enjoyed going fishing, camping, gardening, and Farmall tractors. He loved his family and friends.
Mr. Cupples departed this life on December 19, 2017 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 3 Days.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Carolyn Cupples of Selmer, TN; his son, Curt Cupples and wife Teresa of Selmer, TN; two sisters, Thelma Plunk of Lexington, TN, Sandra Hensley and husband Larry of Hohenward, TN; three grandchildren: Megan Branch, Jacob Cupples and Mandy Cupples; a step grandchild, Chasity Hamm; 6 Great Grandchildren; 1 Step Grandchild; a special cousin he loved, Bob Smith and many other loved ones.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Cupples was preceded in death by a sister, Veda Shackelford and a brother, Billy Cupples.
