Bobby Joe Blaylock, 69, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born February 27, 1956, to BM and Vernie Peoples Blaylock. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, going out to eat, and going to Walmart. He especially enjoyed playing with his best buddy, his dog, Little Man. He also loved going to church and his church family.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 6, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Ricky Barnett and Jennie Barnett officiating. Burial will be in the Center Star Cemetery.
Survivors include three sisters, Barbara Reynolds and Wanda Dill, both of Mantachie, and Peggy Bailey of Myrtle; three brothers, Wayne Blaylock and Billy Blaylock (Fay), both of Verona, and Douglas Blaylock (Joann) of Mantachie; several other extended family members.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Blaylock and Olen Blaylock; one sister, Faye Blaylock; his brother-in-law, Dale Reynolds; and his parents.
Pallbearers will be Terry Reynolds, Jason Bailey, Chris Blaylock, Josh Blaylock, David Kemp, Jon Campbell, and Tony Dabbs.
Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
