Bobby Gerald White, of Blountsville, Alabama, passed away on November 18, 2022, at the age of 86. Mr. White was born in Oxford, Alabama, on March 28, 1936, to Lewis Marion and Laverne Watts White.
Bob served his country honorably in the United States Marines and was a member of the American Legion. As a member and brother in Christ, Mr. White enjoyed worshipping his Savior at Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church alongside his church family. Bob loved to work, and he enjoyed the outdoors. Mr. White was also a devoted and loving family man and he found great joy in his time with his family. Bob and Charlotte were married forty-three years and loved doting over their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. White will be missed greatly by his many loved ones.
Mr. White is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Debbie Sproles; brothers, Thomas White and Lewis White; and sisters, Nell Morris and Gail Chadwell.
Bob is survived by his wife, Charlotte Warren White; sister, Muriel Browning; grandchildren, Robert Michael Sproles (Jamie), Thomas Arreola, Michael Arreola (Mareike); great-grandchildren, Ruby Arreola, Leah Arreola, Liam Arreola, Ian Sproles; and a host of special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. White are 11 a.m., Monday, November 21, 2022, at Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church, pastor Earl Harper officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., at the church, and will conclude as services begin. Burial will follow church services in Holly Pond Cemetery where Thomas Arreola, Michael Arreola, Michael Sproles, Jackie White, Jacob Roll, Christopher Roll, Mark Browning, and Adam Nesmith will serve as pallbearers.
