Bobby Gene Murray Bobby Gene Murray, age 75, of Russellville, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at his residence.

Bobby had owned the Grill and the Auction on Hwy 77 as well as Bobby’s Knives.  He was a the most faithful and God-fearing man.  He loved his family with an unconditional love, was a patient teacher to his family, and instilled the values of God first and a work ethic of working hard for what you want.  He was a very quiet man who always had the answers to your questions.  He enjoyed wood-working and was a big Donald Trump fan.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Murray; parents, R.W. & Virginia (Carpenter) Murray; brothers, Donald Ray Murray, Billy Ray Murray; and grandson, Jonathon Entrekin.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his 4-legged longtime companion, his kitty Goldy; children, Tricia Harrison (husband, Chris), Kelly Edmond (Reginald “Bud”); grand-pup, Bailey; grandchildren, Tasha Zedrow (husband, Ryan), Ashley Wingfield (husband, Steve), Katie Harrison, Britney Nabors (husband, Richard), Trey Harrison (Jacklyn), Emily Edmond, Casey Edmond, Jazlynne Ricks, Reginald Ricks, Jr., Madison Murray, Ashlynn Murray; great-grand-pup, Lamar; great-grandchildren, Gracie Entrekin, Brooke Entrekin, Raelynn Entrekin, Jace Harrison, Addlyn Harrison, Austin Roberson, and Zoe McDaniel; and a host of other family and friends.

The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel.  The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Thomas Thornton officiating the service.  Burial will be at Tharptown Cemetery.

The pallbearers will be Ryan Zedrow, Bud Ricks, Dewayne Green, William Lane, Roger Chaney, and Matt Chaney.

A special thanks from the family to Nicole Elrod and Miss Cindy from the 4th Floor nurses at NAMC.  They showed such compassion and made him feel so important while caring for him.  A special thanks to the well care Home Health of Russellville.  They took wonderful care of Bobby during these past few weeks.

Also, a very special thanks to Miss Jannett Aycock and Miss Bonnie McGee for a wonderful friendship over the years with Bobby and the entire family.

A special thanks to Stacy Stevens, a very close family friend that turned into family over the past 30 years.  You have always been here for our family for any and everything possible.
