Bobby Clifton, age 80, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, and retired from Murray Ohio. Mr. Clifton served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Fletcher and Sarah Elsie Williams Clifton; five brothers, Ralph Clifton, Ray Clifton, William Clifton, Ed Clifton, and Tommy Clifton; two nephews, Ricky Waddle and Mike Clifton; and one brother-in-law, Lee Wainman.
He is survived by one sister, Ruby Wainman of Lawrenceburg, TN; half-brother, Tim Clifton of Lawrenceburg, TN; half-sister, Dorothy Clifton of Lawrenceburg, TN; eight nieces and nephews, Steve Farrington (Traci) of Leoma, TN, Sandy Brazier (Ricky) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Cindy Clifton of Lawrenceburg, TN, Anthony Bud Clifton of TX, Tommy Clifton (Karen) of OH, Joe Allen Clifton of OH, Vivian Lewis of TX, and Jo McCrory (Jeff) of Sevierville, TN; niece-in-law, Shirley Waddle of Leoma, TN; The Cook Shack Gang; special friends, Sherri and David Richardson and Doug Townsend all of Lawrenceburg, TN; several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Friday, June 26, 2020 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Friday, June 26, 2020. Interment will follow at Rochell Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN with full military honors.
