Bobbie Nell Sanford, age 71 of Jasper, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023 at Brookwood Medical Center.
Bobbie Nell Sanford was born in Walker County. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt and granny. She was born on August 9, 1952.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Earnest Chapel Cemetery. Kenneth Wiggins will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her Husband-James (Bob) Sanford; Father-Major Blackwell; Mother-Dera Lee Blackwell; Sister-Annie Lou Blackwell; Brothers-in-law-Butch Allen and Roger Whitehead.
Bobbie is survived by her Children-Chris Blackwell (Kasey) of Attalla, AL and Leeann Makemson (Mickey) of Oakman, AL; Grandkids-Blake, Kaci, Kristen, Alyssa, John and Cutter; Great Grandkids-Kynlee, Raelyn, Talynn and Knox; Sisters and Brothers-Ludie Allen (Butch), Larry Blackwell (Sam), Phillip Blackwell (Lisa) and Kay Whitehead (Rodger); A niece, a host of nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bumper Blackwell, Pete Blackwell, Jason Allen, John Blackwell, Jordan Blackwell, Turner Blackwell, Levi Blackwell and Isaiah Allen.
