Funeral service for Bobbie Lou Bates, 83, will be Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Floyd Bradford officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bates died on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born April 30, 1940, in Cullman County, to Robert Hale and Lula Mae Fogg Hale.
She was a Homemaker for her family, who she loved dearly, was a Big Alabama Fan, enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, sewing and quilting.
Preceding her in death were her husband: Clyde J. Bates, her parents, brothers: Arnelus Hale and Duff Hale, and sisters: Mae Attrice Hardin and Mary Lee Clemons.
