Bobbie Joe “Key Maker” Key, Sr., age 80 of Parrish, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at McDade Cemetery. Rev. Lee Taylor will officiate.
Mr. Key was preceded in death by his Father-Ellis Key; Mother-Ellois Sandford Key; Step Mother-Mary Key Stephenson; Wife-Pauline Key; Son-Bruce Duane Key; Great Granddaughter-Payton Grace Grooms.
He is survived by his Daughters-Karen Lynn Tune (Tim) of Jasper and Sherry Renea Woods (Chris) of Goodsprings; Sons-Bobbie Joe Key, Jr. (Kathy) of Jasper, David Michael Key and Steven Douglas Key (Robin) both of Goodsprings; Sisters-Susan Burnett (Danny) of Parrish and Sandy Fike (Jim) of Oakman; Brothers-Cleve Key (Marylou) of Lakeland, FL, Jimmy Key (Cheryl) of Raleigh, NC, Donnie Key (Marilou) of Nashville, TN, Ellis Key (Sandy) of Moody, AL, David Key (Ginger) of Centreville, AL and Gary Wayne Key (Deb) of Cordova; Grandchildren-Matthew Grooms, Christina Key, Brandon Rylant, Danielle Glasgow, Christian Key, Stacy Welborn, Aaron Key (Jackee), Wesley Key, Bryant Woods, Courtney Lewis and Collin Woods; Great Grandchildren-Anaka Grooms, Levi Glasgow, Addilyn Welborn and Bryce Key.
